Woman is a story about a guy who captures a ferrel woman. He and his family torture her in the name of civilizing her. The father of the family is clearly a misogynistic sadist. He treats the woman in his family almost as bad as his captive. The father is teaching his son to be like him. The older daughter, pregnant by the father, has subtle cries for help at school. A teacher tries her best to do the right thing. The father controls the family by psychological manipulation and violence. On appearances the family is “normal” with the father a lawyer and the mother the model homemaker. The ending is very climactic and violent. This is a decent movie with a decent production and cast.
