Inkubus #Netflix365

Robert Englund is a horror movie icon (Freddie Kruger).  In the movie Inkubus, Englund plays a demon, every few years he sires a child.  In this flick, Inkubus is set to torment the night shift of the local police department.  Is he there for fun or does he have a reason or just cruel intentions?  The story is very disjointed and does not make much sense.  The production is average.  There are some bright spots with veteran actor, William Forsyth and a not horrible Joey Fatone.

The character of Inkubus at times is very entertaining.  He has a weapon, a retractable sword, hidden up his sleeve and can remove handcuffs at will.  He plays “cat and mouse” with the officers of the late shift and has fun doing so.  He can change how he looks, and how others look.  The mind games are fun but became repetitious without furthering the story.  Inkubus also talked a lot.  He waxed nostalgic about his years of murder.  So not a great movie but a good character study of the Inkubus demon, not enough to run the whole movie.  It did keep my interest enough to watch til the end and I have seen much, much worst.
