People often use the term “dark comedy” for any comedy that may have crossed some kind of line. The term is used too much when describing comedy movies. If there was a “movie genre dictionary”, the definition of dark comedy would be Very Bad Things. A group of guys head to Las Vegas for a bachelor party (stop me if you heard this before). Things turn “dark” when a hooker is killed. The group attempts a cover up and hilarity ensues.
